Travel to France

TRAVEL TO FRANCE. Following the violent disturbances in France over the past two weeks, the Foreign Office is advising British travellers who need to visit or transit any of the affected areas that they need to be extremely vigilant and to avoid any demonstrations. The French Minister of Tourism has reported that so far tourism has not directly been affected by the events and violence has not taken place at tourist sites or areas popular with tourists.
