Jane P Ruffman Joined Norseman in 1985 Lived in Rhodesia until the late 70's, and my childhood was pretty near to perfect! What a fantastic country to grow up in. It makes me very sad to see and hear what is going on now. Returned to the UK, finished my education(sort of!) and joined a city centre Travel Agency, where I spent 5 great years. Joined Norseman in 1985, and I'm still here! I don't have any claims to fame, I used to be good at sport but I was young then, still love watching most sports, but I draw the line at cricket (much to Bruce's disgust). I'm a reasonable cook, enjoy the odd glass of wine, love reading, and spending time with my kids. I've been lucky enough to see some wonderful places, especially New England, which I loved, and the Caribbean. I stood on the terrace of Curtain Bluff on Antigua, and watched the volcano on Montserrat across the water - absolutely amazing. I love the south of France, beautiful area, lovely people. Found a great little company specialising in privately owned houses in the region, very quiet and peaceful, even with my kids!! Enjoyed a recent trip to the gorgeous island of Mauritius. Green and lush, some amazing hotels, and beautiful beaches. Lots more to do than I thought - I even tried my hand at archery - can't say I was very good! Driving through the sugarcane plantations, reminded me of home. Africa is still in my heart, and will always be my idea of heaven!.
