Kit Robinson Joined Norseman in
1989 After completing a 2 years course in Travel & Tourism at New College Durham in 1976, I joined the retail department in Thomas Cook in Newcastle. After an informative 11 years with a large travel multiple I decided to change direction and joined an independant company to see a different way of selling holidays! I have since found in Norseman Travel, a more personal and comprehensive but flexible approach to servicing our customers needs - at times asked to, and obtaining the impossible booking dates!
Married to Steve, we have one child, 6 years old Amy, who along with a hoard of Irish Red Setter dogs keep us both busy in our spare time.
Since joining Norseman I have had opportunities to do educational visits to various countries:- Europe - Norway - Bergan and the Songafjord area; France - skiing resorts of Val d'Isere and Couchevel 1850; Further afield - Australia - doing the 4 corners Sydney, Darwin, Cairns and Perth in 10 days!;
Africa - Kenya and Tanzania on safari, Mombasa coast for beach. South Africa - Johannesburg and the Mpumalanga region, Sun City and various game lodges in the Kruger National Park, and a journey on the Blue Train. South Pacific - Fuji. Canada & USA - skiing in Banff and Lake Louise. Most recently, riding the famous Cable cars down the streets of San Francisco.
